Reporting to the Procurement head of Mechanical, Process and civil equipment, I was responsible for A to Z of purchasing the equipment from receiving purchase documents to delivering the equipment to the projects sites including: • Receiving purchase documents • Reviewing documents for completeness assurance • Market surveying and holding tenders • Getting technical and commercial offers from vendors • Handling all technical clarifications • Handling all commercial negotiations • Commercial Bid Evaluation of the vendors • Selecting final vendor through transaction committee • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and contracts • Tracking and handling all payment issues • Dealing with all documentations • Expediting all the works • Visiting vendor's shop and supervising construction stages • Coordinating the inspection and test stages and meetings • Dealing with all shipment and customs clearance issues • Delivery of the equipment to the project site. Beside That I was responsible for: • Keeping the company's Approved Vendor List up to date • Evaluating vendors by visiting their shops on a regular basis • Participating in relevant exhibitions • Holding meetings with the vendors • Getting budget price from vendors to give them to our Market Development Department in order to participating of the company in EPC tenders of Oil & Gas & Petrochemical Industries.
