Investment Accounting & Operations Manages the full cycle of investment accounting, including the day-to-day accounting, quarterly & annual closing process, etc.; Ensures the accuracy and timely completion of reconciliations like bank, investment portfolios, bond premium/discount amortization, accrued coupon and interest receivables, realized/unrealized valuations and other balance sheet accounts, and recurring JVs; Ensures control over various fees charged by the banks and timely detection and correction of any lag, overcharges, interest payments from the banks' side are all in accordance to the agreements; Maintains commodity, forex and equity sheets with MTM information and real time updates to the team in relation to the existing positions; Monitors LTV and any margin call requirements on a daily basis; Ensures trades settlements are done properly and no delays; Portfolio Management Commodity trading on Sugar, Wheat & Coffee. Research on the products to understand the macro and micro events, rolling over the contracts, dealing with exchange houses for proper trade settlements, updates working orders and manages the existing positions; Fixing Raw Sugar contracts for the production and hedging the physical sugar against Sugar White Premium; Commodity trading on metals such as Gold, Silver and Platinum. Ensures trades are executed on time and the portfolio is managed well. Arranging accumulators on Sugar as well as metals; Equity trading and ensures the equity portfolio is managed based on the targets. Monitors the market, updates the watch lists, setting targets for TPs, averaging down, etc.; Analysis of products such as structured, fixed income products offered by private banks; Examines and assesses economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators, metrics and factors in determining suitable investment strategies; Keeps track of all major economic and geopolitical events;
