Trims and Fabric sourcing across both woven and jersey fabrications. Consistently looking for newness to ensure the delivery on a strong range, whilst being mindful for quality, price and sustainability. Regular attendance twice a year Paris for Premiere Vision and Texworld. Seeing through the design process from inspiration, development, toiling stage to finished garment. Regularly present Trend, Design, Fabric and Trim presentations to fellow peers, buyers and management.

Senior Womenswear Designer across the Outerwear, Tailoring and Blouse departments, at UK Fashion Supplier based in the London office. Responsibilities Include: Designing and producing ranges across Outerwear, Tailoring and Blouses for the Dunnes, Wallis, Peacocks, Bon Marche and Roman. Working closely with the Vietnam office, supporting on inspiration, design, pattern making, toiling to final sample stage. Fabric and Trim sourcing, regular fabric meetings with agents as well as liaising directly with Far East mills negotiating price, delivery and quality. Creating catwalk and streetstyle response boards, trend and fabric boards and design presentations to showcase to the UK customers. Regular communications with buying and merchandise teams as well as attending development meetings.

Womenswear Designer across the Outerwear, Tailoring and Blouse departments, at UK Fashion Supplier based in the London. Responsibilities Include: Designing and producing ranges across Outerwear, Tailoring and Blouses for the Next, River Island and Peacocks accounts. Working closely with in house pattern cutters and machinists to ensure samples were made to the best standard and to reach customer deadlines. European inspiration trips to gather the latest trends and fashion intel. Fabric and Trim sourcing. Generating shop reports, trend boards and CAD work. Development and Presentations with customers, setting up showrooms with the latest ranges, preparing supporting design work and showcasing the latest fabrics.

Junior Womenswear Designer for the Tailoring department, at UK Fashion Supplier based in the London. Responsibilities Include: Assisting senior designers with daily design work and presentation boards. Working across the Primark, Pennys, George, Sainsburys, Next, Wallis, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and Etam. Designing into the tailoring range, starting from inspiration, to design and development, working with the Vietnam office checking over toiles to final garment stage. Attending customer meetings, helping set up showrooms, preparing presentations. Regularly putting together presentation boards, shop reports, catwalk response boards and following through design briefs from the customer.

Womenswear Design Assistant for the Tailoring and Outerwear departments, at UK Fashion Supplier based in the London. Responsibilities Include: Supporting designers with design work, this included CADing sketches, sketch amendments, research for briefs, filling out workbooks and assisting with the toile stage of garments. In charge of making sure samples came back from the factories in time for deadlines, steaming and photographing garments before sending out to the customer. Helped set up showrooms for customer meetings and tidying afterwards. Responsible for arranging all trims on samples sent out to factories, regularly ordering and replenishing when out of stock of particular times. Organising and filing documents and photographs onto the work system.

Design Administer, at UK Fashion Supplier based in the London. Responsibilities Include: Running errands and administration duties for the studio. Assisting senior print designers with CAD work, print amendments and applying different colourways to artworks. Help set up the showrooms for customer meetings, tidy the garment rails regularly. In charge of sending out post and making sure incoming deliveries were allocated to the team.

Studio Intern, at Zandra Rhodes studio based in the London. Responsibilities Include: Assisting the Print Designer with colour ways and print amendments. Fashion drawings and illustrations. Helped the team with fittings. General assistance on administration work.
