Ensure timely completion of accurate reports required by Company and client (including but not limited to daily drilling reports, pre-tour reports, hand-over notes, etc.). Update the well control board on a tourly basis. Maintain complete records of all tools and tubular run into the hole while drilling and/or reaming (including made up lengths, tool joints OD, ID, serial numbers). Track rotating hours on tubular/BHA/Tools. Maintain records of footage drilled, location and nature of strata penetrated, materials and tools used, services rendered and time required. Monitor the well condition at all times (i.e. depth, mud weight, weight on bit, possible deviation from course et cetera). Interpret and respond to downhole conditions. Review all available well planning documentation available on the rig. Perform drilling operations as instructed by the Toolpusher, Customer Representative, Tourpusher. Confirm reporting on drill fluid conditions by assigned personnel. Maintain accurate record of down hole tool dimensions and identification numbers. Inform Tooolpusher, Tourpusher, and customer Representative if a deviation from planned operation occurs. Keep accurate records of fluid displacement when tubular are run In/pulled out of hole. Complete the IADC daily drilling report at the end of each tour. Hold pre-job meeting with the drilling crew for all non-routine drilling operations. Secure the well during an emergency or well control situation - assist in the well killing operations. Supervise the lubrication and maintenance of all drilling and associated equipment and ensure it is carried out in accordance to the Preventive maintenance System. Maintain equipment files, drilling logs and records - perform all technical calculations required to carry out drilling operations. I m a Main Well Cyberbase Driller on AKER SOLUTIONS, HUISMAN, AND National Oilwell HITEC SDI system. Extensive deepwater drilling, jack rig, land rigs, drillships work over & completion experience. Very good knowledge of crown mounted compensator, MH Top Drive, MH tensioner system and all other drilling equipment. Drilled several deepwater directional wells with various directional companies and different downhole directional tools. Main Well Driller on a 6th Gen. Ultra-Deepwater Dual Activity Drillship. Vessel equipped with two 6th Gen. NOV/Shaffer Blowout Preventers minimizing all end of well maintenance for client. Vessel is performing multi zone completions as well as drilling program for client . Currently hold Driller Level IWCF well control certificate, Valid Bosiet, and other relevant certifications for my position. Supervisory skills include well control, hands on equipment proficiency as well as equipment limitations, situational awareness/leadership, while safely implementing the well program . .Drilling in water depths of nearly 11,200 feet (3,403 meters)! Sometimes we take for granted what the offshore oil and gas industry is capable of - think about it for a moment... hanging well over two miles (2 miles!) of drilling riser from a drillship and then drilling thousands of feet below the mudline with a ship that is dynamically positioned in rough seas. That takes more than just a little know-how! Not to mention installing subsea equipment and then operating/producing at these depths. Supervise all work on the drill floor and full responsibility for the correct operation of the rig floor equipment, the mud system, and well control. This includes ensuring all crew members carry out their jobs in both a safe and efficient manner. During drilling operations, continuous monitoring of all drilling parameters ensures the operation meets the clients’ expectations. In addition to ensuring all correct company procedures are followed full reporting is carried out as per IADC standards. The rig is equipped with a full Aker Solutions cyber-based package with IOC cyber chair, Wirth draw works & pumps and crown mounted compensator Perform the drilling department’s daily checklists, i.e. QHSE checks, mast/Derrick inspection, choke and kill manifold set up, etc. Maintain accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e. internal and external diameter, fish neck, and serial numbers). Calculate ton-miles on drilling line, maintain an accurate logbook and advise the Driller on the need to slip & cut. Maintain an organized drilling equipment store, and tubular and subs inventory.
