Reporting to Co-founder: • Development of company’s Business Plan and company´s Investors Deck • Market research and assessment, development of business & market analytics • Participation in meetings with investors as technical and market expert • Development of proposals to request grants, contracts and loans
As Head of the Mission Department: • Responsible of growing the Department from no one to 4 people • Responsible of a multidisciplinary and international team (4 nationalities + Spanish) • Coordination within the Department of the different activities carried out: - Aerodynamics vehicle characterization and aerothermal and fluid dynamic simulations and analysis - Trajectory simulation, flight safety analysis, mission design and launch site assessment and selection - Recovery subsystem development together with ASNA (Airborne Systems North America) - Payload Management to fly on board of the different rockets, development of launch vehicle documentation • Together with the Payload Manager, responsible of the acquisition of the two customers that will fly on board of the first MIURA 1 rocket; ZARM Institute & Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University • Responsible of two recovery subsystem development contracts (+ 700k€) from selection of contractor to Qualification & Acceptance of the subsystem Furthermore, provision of support to the business development and communications area in different tasks when required; from writing ESA proposals, to support in the preparation of several workshops and conferences including the assistance and presenting in those events.
As part of the ESA FLPP-LPSR Team: • Focal point with ESA contract team • Managed with Spanish Army the selection and preparation of the vehicle to execute the Drop-Test • Participation in the overall execution of the contract, since its signature until the formal termination • Organisation and participation in the MIURA 5 first stage demonstrator Drop-Test execution, being on board of the Recovery boat.
• Participation in the Resolution of Anomalies & Non-Conformities, carrying-out root-cause analysis as well as proposing preventive and correction actions at ESA Processes-System Level • Monitoring of KPIs and identification of trends in parameters of ESA Processes • Participation in the development of Risk Registers, and in the Risk Management of some ESA Processes • Conduction of ESA External and Internal Supplier Audits; preparation of Checklist, conduction of interviews, identification of Non-Conformities and Deviations, and ultimately preparation of Audit and Non-Conformity Reports containing the agreed Corrective and Preventive actions
Concurrent Engineering Design: • As part of the System Team, provision of system engineering support to a number of Feasibility Studies within the ESA Concurrent Design Facility (ESA CDF). Some of the tasks I have carried out are: System Requirements definition, Mission Phase definition, System Modes definition, System Power and Mass budget estimation among others. ESA ISO 9001 Management System (ESA IMS): • As part of the IMS Team, provision of the implementation of the ESA IMS in the Agency collaborating in different tasks such as: drafting, reviewing and maintaining Agency IMS Procedures with relevant Process Managers, being regular member of the ESA Configuration Control Board, defining and controlling IMS Procedures interfaces among others.
Business Development & Sales Department: • Support to the Head of Business Development & Sales Department in developing strategies to meet customer needs as well as provision of support in the bid proposal preparation (mainly ESA proposals)
