As the VP and CIO of Pace University, I managed the IT needs of this multicampus institution from Aug 2009 - Nov 2010.
I had the overall responsibility for for Information Technology Services consisting of 60 staff members. ITS is divided into Academic Computing Services, Administrative Systems, Technology Support Services and User Services. In addition, the post office and telecom report to ITS.
In this role I was responsible for overall management of technology infrastructure of the University including research & development and recommending future direction. I manage several groups currently at ITS: Systems and Operations, Telecommunications, Digitization, Network Infrastructure Management, Web Management, and Application Development. I also direct the Electronic Portfolio project. My group is also responsible for the maintenance of CTW (Conn College, Trinity and Wesleyan) library consortium systems. I also was responsible for the User services, Computer Store and Service Center, Helpdesk and Training during the first 5 years.
I was in various roles, starting my career at Wesleyan to support scientific computing. Honestly I don't remember the various titles I held, so I used the one I remembered.
