Key Project Work: Research Study: Implementation of Common Core in California for Center for the Future of Teaching & Learning at WestEd (see the following link for the report: https://thecenter.wested.org/insights/) Conducted research (qualitative and quantitative analysis) to inform the development of technical assistance and professional learning solutions to help California districts build greater capacity to implement the new ELA and Math California Standards. From 2015 -2018, phone survey interviews were conducted with district curriculum and instruction leaders to understand the current capacity and constraints within districts to support teachers through the new California Standards implementation. The research provided the following outcomes in the following areas: - Implementation Planning - Quality of Assistance Received - Perceived Gaps in Support - Internal Capabilities to Meet Current Needs Market Research for Non Profit Professional Development Organization with the following deliverables: - Environmental Scan –review of the current and anticipated environmental factors that impact the organization services and/or product lines. - Market Segmentation Analysis – Defined and subdivided a large, overall homogeneous professional learning market into clearly identifiable segments having similar needs, wants, or demand characteristics to the organization - Value Proposition Development - Examined and identified what are the advantages, the unique differentiators, the organization needed fort its best product positioning
