Riverside is a free 2 day music festival in West Oxfordshire, with more than 40 acts playing across four stages, with all kinds of music. Established in 1996, Riverside is one of the biggest free events in Oxfordshire, and a big fixture on the local music calendar too! I have been a part of the management team since 1997, looking after the bookings for the food and trade stalls, managing the website and social media platforms, and some other aspects of general administration, and of course being very actively involved in the planning, set up, running, and breakdown. None of the crew are paid for the work we do, and we all take great pride in staging a free event showcasing the best talent, young and old, for the local community, and the wider Oxfordshire area.
