- Managed implementation of MES for new cab assembly line, providing project requirements to multiple vendors, procuring all equipment and supervising installation. Worked on PLC and ANDON systems for increasing efficiency of the assembly line and it’s effective management. - Led the assembly planning team in successful completion of 2015 Tier IV Final NPI Program. Also worked with subcontractors in designing, procuring and installing the overhead crane system to support the DC tool system. - Experience in implementing AGV system, setting up safety sensors and AGV path development. - Utilized FMEA tool for various NPI programs to identify risk areas and developing quality control plans. - Reviewing and implementing Engineering Changes for DFA (Design for Assembly). • Designed an application on Visual Studio to determine the efficiency of weld operators at John Deere Turf Care based on the quantity of parts they weld on a daily basis and to generate reports to track their progress saving time and resources. • Conducted a time-study to analyze manpower utilization of the quality auditors working in different product lines and identified non-value adding processes. • Developed safety procedures for material handling equipment used in the assembly line with visual representation which were used in the Operator Method Sheet (OMS). • Designed a database application for the part testing process for data centralization and easy generation of reports. • Automated the project planning process by developing an application to allocate projects based on type, time required and product information.
