Final year capstone project at Indiana University- Partner company: GravityDrive 📌Brief Description about the Partner Company • GravityDrive is a user experience consulting company providing UX research, design, evaluation, and support services to help build better experiences. • As a part of our final year capstone project, our team (of 3 members) has partnered with GravityDrive to to deliver a minimum viable product (MVP) [ a web based platform ] that would help managers and members using co-working spaces: - To manage the co-working space and interact within it conveniently - To foster professional, personal, business growth 📌 My key role and responsibilities • Conceptualized, designed and delivered a web based co-working space management application to enhance the co-working experience of members and simplify the daily operations of managers at co-working spaces • Led the team to conduct extensive user research by facilitating field studies across 9 co-working spaces in Indiana to empathize with user’s needs and pain-points • Analyzed and interpreted research to inform our designs by creating customer flows, journey maps, and wireframes • Led cross-functional brainstorms, discussions, and design reviews with the team to understand, identify, and take on complex business requirements and user needs • Designed and delivered wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to validate design decisions • Led the usability testing across 9 co-working spaces to validate the acceptance of the MVP by calculating an SUS score
📌Brief Overview • I have been working with Dr. Robert Skipworth Comer since August 2017 for Indiana University's COMET lab ( https://comet.soic.iupui.edu/ ) • While working for the COMET lab as an interaction designer, I have successfully delivered 5 different projects in healthcare management and education sector. 📌Current Projects: 1) iDEW (Education domain): • An online platform that promotes the adoption of STEM courses (At high school level) by encouraging students from various public schools in the state of Indiana to learn and explore innovative projects ( in Robotics, IoT, data visualization etc) and receive feedback from industry experts like Salesforce, Infosys and other companies in Indiana. 2) Agile Implementation: Designing new features for an enterprise healthcare application that will be used by quality assurance teams to determine the quality of medical service provided to patients by medical practitioners throughout Indiana state. 📌Past Projects: 1) IU Critique (Education domain): • A mobile & desktop based critique provision system that helps to simplify the need to collaboratively give and receive critiques to student assignment submissions for large sizes of undergraduate classes in Indiana University's School of Informatics and Computing. 2) IU RehabHelp: (In partnership with Indiana University - School of Nursing): • A mobile application that helps nurses to direct patients with addictions to appropriate rehabilitation centers for proper care and treatment 3) MIPS: (In partnership with Indiana University - School of Medicine)
📌Brief Overview about the Project I have worked with Professor Davide Bolchini ( Head of Department - Human Computer Interaction) and Dr. Richard Holden This project is uder Indiana University's COMET lab 📌Key role and responsibilities • Joined the Design Team of our health care project called ‘Power to patient’ (P2P) : A mobile application to support older adults with chronic heart failure. • Collaborated with researchers at Parkview Health and Innovation lab to translate research findings into innovative design solution • Conducted usability testing (in lab environment) with Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) patients at Park View Group of Hospitals to identify any usability problems, collect quantitative / qualitative data on participants' performance and determine user satisfaction with the mobile application prototype
📌Brief Description about Lately Inc. • SAP's incubator start-up: "Lately Inc" is a machine learning based marketing SaaS platform that provides a one-step solution for social media marketing. With prominent partners like Harvard Business School and customers like Microsoft, Lately connects data, people and processes by saving time , creating smart content and scalable marketing teams. 📌My role and responsibilities at Lately Inc. as a UX Summer Intern • Established UX processes for Lately’s social media marketing startup (SAP’s incubator startup in collaboration with Harvard Alumni). • Sole UX designer to re-design the user on-boarding experience and Analytics module of Lately’s AI based social media marketing SaaS platform with a scalable information architecture • Demonstrated the ability to understand new a business domain (Marketing) and an existing complex data-heavy SaaS application in a short span of time • Collaborated closely with product managers (CPO, CTO, CEO), developers, sales and marketing team to uncover business and user requirements and transformed concepts into production ready feature designs • Contributed to user research and articulated it into customer journeys, user flows, sitemaps and wireframes which were presented to stakeholders to aid feature improvements • Implemented iterative sketching, wire-framing and interactive prototyping in an agile development model and provided low- fidelity and high fidelity design deliverables to make strategic design decisions related to core and new functions and features of the product • Integrated user feedback and business requirements into on-going product experience updates • Gauged the usability (using fullstory analytics) of new and existing features and made constructive suggestions for change
