Mentor and guide YPPH participants in selected subject areas, offering practical insights, advice, and career development support. Contribute to the development of innovative approaches and solutions in the chosen subject area that align with the mission of the West African Institute of Public Health. Engage in research, policy analysis, and advocacy initiatives to promote public health awareness and best practices within the region. Enrich the learning experience, participants should participate in virtual meetings, discussions, and networking opportunities with YPPH participants and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and facilitate interactive sessions on health technology, advocacy, systems design, or other relevant topics. 2. Provide guidance and feedback to YPPH participants on their projects, presentations, and research activities. 3. Support integrating technology and innovation into public health practices to address key challenges in the region. 4. Lead discussions on current public health issues, trends, and emerging topics to stimulate critical thinking and knowledge sharing. 5. Collaborate with the YPPH team to evaluate the programme's effectiveness and recommend improvements for future cohorts.

• Providing input and guidance concerning curriculum aspects, including admission and assessment requirements, vocational profiles, relevance, and research. • Defining and setting academic standards for the learning programs concerned. • Monitor delivery and ensure adherence to standards, contributing to program review. • Advising on changes required in the curriculum due to changes in the external environment. • Providing advice on the vocational profile of graduates and diplomats and trends. • Advising on continued professional development and extracurricular offerings. • Advising on the establishment of entities. • Monitoring and reporting on the availability and relevance of laboratory equipment and infrastructure required for all programs and curricula. • Assisting the University in staff placement for sabbaticals and/or industrial experience. • Assisting the University in developing local, national, and international partnerships.
