As part of the executive team, collaborated to accelerated growth of the AIG private client book, doubling GWP in four years, whilst reducing and then maintain loss ratios of less than 50%. Part of my involvement was to transform the claims team to work more efficiently, looking at functions through various lenses, and creating initiatives like low touch whilst outsourcing the volume claims. Other areas including creation of an online Compliance Monitoring Plan (Control Register) and then rolling out Control Registers for all critical areas of the business. Developing an online risk register, to be real time and dynamic and linking to the Control Registers. Building a new initiative, tech enabled Cyber product, collaborating with a new carrier, broker, embedded services and registering as a new Lloyd’s Coverholder. My proudest achievement as part of the executive was to create an environment which had conduct and culture at its heart, where technology and Insurance didn’t just coexist but understood and collaborated with each other daily.
