George L Clardy

Capella Technical Solutions provides engineering services and technical solutions for government and commercial customers within the Department of Defense and Space Program. George L. Clardy is the Founder, President and CEO of Capella Technical Solutions and brings to the position over 39 years of experience in Systems Management, Operations, and Test & Evaluation. He has spent years underway on 48 warships spanning 3 navies as a Naval Officer and as a Project Officer (PO) with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division. As a Project Officer/Engineer he managed multiple teams concurrently in the planning, coordination and execution of multi-million dollar test events on numerous Aegis cruisers (CG) and destroyers (DDG). He has worked on several combat systems programs on aircraft carriers (CVN), amphibious ships (LPH, LHA, LHD), Aegis ships and currently manages the test observation reports (TOR) for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) as the TOR Database Manager. He has worked extensively on joint exercises with allies/partners in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Mr. Clardy was assigned as the first Combat Systems Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) Project Officer for the Spanish Navy where he and his team safely and successfully completed numerous missile firings and the overall integrated testing of the combat systems on the first two Spanish F-100 class Aegis-ships. With 17 years of experience providing research, coordination and training support to major Navy and Joint Staffs Mr. Clardy provides a key understanding of the issues related to effective support of integrated logistics and operational planning for real-world and contingent operations. Mr. Clardy is a retired Navy Captain and his last assignment with the Navy was serving several months as the Acting Inspector General for the Commander, Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT) where he managed a hundred plus investigations in the Pacific/Indian Ocean areas of responsibilities.
