Maintain and enhance the Notifiable Medical Conditions (NMC) surveillance data management strategy at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) Maintain, enhance, and assist with the development of an NMC data warehouse to coordinate the collection, storage, management, and reporting of NMC surveillance data. Develop and manage the NMC databases; where outsourcing of services is required, manage and guide the outsourced developments. Develop and enhance existing application programming interfaces to allow electronic data exchange between data systems. Develop and enhance existing application programming interfaces or contribute to a team that develops or enhance programming to a team that develops or enhances programming interfaces to allow electronic data exchange between data systems. Develop and implement standards and guidance for use of database tools and the protection of confidential information including development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
