Responsible for the strategic direction of the British Promotional Merchandise Association to raise the profile of promotional merchandise within the marketing sector.
During my term as Marketing Director/Vice Chair I focussed on streamlining communications to ensure we inspire, educate and connect with our membership and these remain fundamental to the future direction of the association.
One of the founding Directors. I really enjoyed helping develop a thriving and successful healthcare advertising agency.
Having enjoyed playing amateur rugby union at Orrell RUFC for a number of seasons which had many highlights including; playing in the premiership, being the clubs top try scorer in the season 95/96, playing several times in the Middlesex 7's as well as winning junior international caps for England (U19's) and Scotland (U21's and Students). In 1996 I was lucky enough to become a Professional Rugby Player for 2 seasons at London Scottish before a reoccurring ankle injury forced me to stop playing. I learned a huge amount from my relatively short time as a professional in rugby and met some great people along the way. Rugby was "my life" in those days and I was very sad to leave that behind. I have tried to use some of the discipline and principals learned through rugby into the commercial world and I am pleased to say that has brought some success....but not as many bruises!
