Launched over 200 new products under the brands of Ameriwood, Altra, DHP - Dorel Home Products, California Closets, Ty Pennington while supporting multiple major retailers with newly designed private label product lines. Operations included multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities and a global network of sourcing partners.
Recruited to turnaround the kitchen & bath fixtures and plumbing products division of a wholly owned entity of Grupo Briones Holdings, based in Santiago, Chile. Product categories included porcelain enamel steel sinks and tubs, vitreous china toilets and lavatories, and brass faucets. Focused the organization externally to establish and drive customer-centric, cross-cultural, team based change. Worked closely with domestic manufacturing and plants in Ecuador, Venezuela and Chile to create teamwork, securing buy-in to strategic vision, objectives and maintain ongoing effective communications. Implemented strategic planning process. The business required intense change processes to improve quality and service performance, Operations included domestic, Latin America and Asian based manufacturing and distribution centers. Team worked with key vendors to develop and relaunch new performance flushing system, recieving Consumer Reports #1 rating. Early adopter of direct transactional eCommerce in marketing of select goods, parts and accessories. Achieved double digit compounded annual growth over three year period, from $98M to trend rate of $135M, while improving overall EBITDA from loss position to over $17M contribution.
