You will be challenged to try new things, and discover new ways of thinking and behaving. Think of the sessions as ‘me time’ one on one time devoted purely around you and your needs. What to expect? • talking though an issue in order to understand it better • making sense of a trigger such as a problematic personal reaction to a situation • problem-solving, planning and decision-making • trying new things and modifying old habits and behaviour • coping better with a range of feelings and emotions • looking at new ways to problem solve, • building up your self esteem, by undoing self-criticism and tailoring right self-care • working through a life transition • dealing with difficult or painful relationships • fear, anxiety, and helping you find your balance again STRESS Understanding stress, emotions and how our body reacts to triggers is important. Talking helps us understand our emotions and teaches you how to assert your emotions in effective ways. When we are confronted with a difficult situation we don't know how to respond. Therapy helps give you the words and ways of coping, so you feel empowered. I utilise my experience in business and wellness to provide support to individuals in attaining balance in their lives and add an outside perspective based on positive psychology theory. I have 30 years business experience and am undertaking my Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Telehealth provided.
