In my current role, I run initiatives and processes and create experiences for our staff that create a culture that fosters our organization’s values. I am responsible to ensuring adequate staffing at all levels of the organization, payroll management, ensuring maximum compliance to labour laws, run wellbeing initiatives, conduct employee listening exercises, updating org policies and run initiatives around PoSH and I am a part of the job evaluation committee. I am also revamping the performance management system to better assess performance and thereafter reward the top performers. I manage stakeholders across levels - City Heads, Unit Heads, Functional Managers and work closely with the Senior Management Team. I manage a team of HR Recruiters and HR Executives who help me in delivering HR goals for the organization.
I manage the recruitment function of our organization across 7 different cities in India. The roles that we recruit include field staff, fundraising officers, specialized professionals and leadership roles. I take decisions to implement the best practices and the best model that impact our recruitment process. I also deal with stakeholders across levels - City Heads, Unit Heads, Functional Managers to SMT. Manpower planning, recruitment life cycle management, candidate experience, on-boarding, induction, employee sensitization programs, team mentoring, employee listening exercises, job evaluation and budget management are some of the key tasks that I handle. I manage a team of 5 HR Recruiters who help in fulfilling the field and officer level requirements across the branch offices.
