Working for ABSnet was really a learning experience, my focus was on development of internal and external services. This included but was not limited to adapting support systems and routines, product development and deployment. I was also involved in recruitment processes and personnel matters. A big part of my positions was to design and implement the Online Backup solution, amongst other products / projects. I was also in charge of designing our vendor agreements for sale of our Online Backup and Hosted Exchange products, as well as recruitment of partners to the platform.
My work at Centric AS ranged from project management to system maintenance and implementation. In addition to Securing network and production systems. The last years a focus on virtualizing and consolidating our infrastructure was my main tasks. This helped lower costs and made the company much more agile in our deployment of new services, and lowered cost of ownership by approximately 50%. Daily tasks at Centric could range from customer presentation and sales, to troubleshooting networks and maintenance of internal and external production systems. Mainly Windows, Linux, VMware and Hyper-V. My last task at Centric was to outsource management of our IT systems to ABSnet AS.
