Working on all creative content for each artist; including album artwork (art direction, collating label copy, approval from artist/management, and working with production to produce all formats and meet deadlines). Organising and overseeing all aspects of videos, photo shoots TV ads and digital content. Managing artist budgets, negotiating with external suppliers as well as dealing with their payments.
The enterprise was a singing talent search among Leeds students in association with BigonRoad Records which involved an audition process and a final showcase with winner winning recording contract with label. • Created new business structure by connecting student talent to industry network. • Produced effective and creative marketing plan for target audience. • Tasks included finding suitable venue, organising finalists, sponsors and other business partnerships. • Arranged scouts to attend final event; including A&R from Universal Music. • Created close relationship with partnered Record Company Executive, other suppliers and partners of the project, including student radio and press, established hair and beauty salons and partnered charity. • I oversaw all aspects of the project, delegating roles to runners and acted as guidance for artists.
This role took place at the charity’s summer and winter play schemes. The role involved looking after children in need of one to one assistance, with varying degrees of mental and physical disabilities. This role helped me learn about different children’s disabilities and their needs. It also required a patient and responsible attitude towards working with children with such differing needs.
Attended photo and video shoots, booked couriers for artists and staff, collected packages, filing, attended marketing, advertising, sales and general meetings.
