Joined the leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm as an executive within its crypto & web3 portfolio, tasked with building the Events and Experiential Marketing function, defining strategic priorities, recruiting talent, and managing daily operations. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆: Partnered on creating and implementing high-level omni-channel marketing strategies. Served as project owner for the design and implementation of business-expanding events highlighted by the following: • Founders Summit: Developed and planned an annual luxury event attended by 250+ high-priority guests, overseeing a large-scale budget, developing programming, managing vendors, and booking celebrity guests, plus securing hotel buyouts and specialty venues. • Crypto Startup School: Created and managed the semi-annual 12-week incubator program for Crypto / web3 startups, creating and executing program vision and managing all logistics and programming elements for 65+ participants. • Additional Events: Conceptualized, planned, and launched multiple other high-profile events and programs, including the launch of Chris Dixon’s book 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘖𝘸𝘯, the annual Research Summer Cohort, and quarterly Crypto Fund Offsite Meetings. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Recruited, onboarded, and managed a talented team of 3 event marketing specialists to own critical elements of conceptualizing, planning, and executing the startup’s entire portfolio of events catering to high-value audiences. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀: Own relationships with industry-leading agencies and vendors to execute all event functions, oversee budget distributions and allocations, and effortlessly incorporate emerging web3 technologies into executions.
