Started in 2002 the promotion of Dutch expertise in dredging technology and the establishment of local fabrication facilities in Malaysia of dredging equipment the commissioning, training and technology transfer for the region, delivery and export, for foreign clients and principals as well. Initiated in 2002 on behalf of the Malaysian Prime Minister's Dredging Initiative of the Government. As a result Bruna was appointed in 2003 the Sole & Exclusive Representative of VostaLMG from the Netherlands HQ & Germany.

The company was one of the few well respected private owned companies in the dredging and related industries in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2006 due to the acquisition by international dredging company Royal Boskalis NV, from the Netherlands taking over the Dredging Fleet and Dredging activities of the Dutch company D. Blankevoort International Dredging Company Bruna's representative role came to an end. Royal Boskalis is an international group with a leading position in the market of dredging services.
