Green Schools Project's mission is to change the way that schools respond to the climate and nature crisis. We help schools get serious about sustainability to give young people hope for a greener future. We've worked with over 130 schools since 2015 and are now focusing on our Zero Carbon Schools programme. This enables pupils to learn about climate change, calculate an estimate of their school's carbon emissions and then run projects to reduce them. It also provides teacher training so that climate and nature can be included in all curriculum areas, and support to run a parent event to involve the local community.
