Henry Herms

Chief Financial Officer of Almanac Real Estate Investors, an investment manager focused on private and public equity strategies in both closed-ended and open-ended environments, diversified investor base including primarily domestic and foreign institutional investors. Investments across a wide spectrum of real estate property types, structured as debt and equity interests (primarily held through private REITs) with significant control and protective rights. Currently lead a team of nine financial professionals responsible for all aspects of financial accounting, performance measurement, treasury, investor reporting, and investment structuring. Work closely with leadership, investment teams, legal and compliance, to support growth of new fund initiatives. Prior to NB acquisition, also responsible for all human resources and benefits matters, office management, business insurance coverage, IT management and security, and business continuity planning. Also serve as finance group lead for the NB Residential Loan Funds strategy.
