Singtel Dash is a major revamp of the original award-winning Dash mobile finance application (both consumer as well as business apps). In this major revamp, beyond enhancing the customer experience of the existing person-to-merchant (P2M) and person-to-person (P2P) payment experiences, the Singtel Dash app augments these with Singtel Transit NFC SIM (EZ-Link) payment, overseas remittance (covering India, China, Philippines, Indonesia) as well as capabilities to top up from major bank accounts in Singapore. Chee Wai served the pivotal role as the Product Development and Programme lead on the conceptualization, implementation and deployment of the new Singtel Dash app. Chee Wai was in charge of driving: 1. Definition of the new Business Requirements factoring feedback from customers and functionalities that distinguishes Dash from competition 2. Visual design concepts together with DX team, to ensure they meet the BRD and offering the best-in-class customer experience 3. Management of app vendors, in ensuring they thoroughly understood BRD through clarification sessions and timely decision making on implementation details 4. Management of multi-matrix teams involving Product, Engineering, Architect, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Internal Audit, Regulatory, Info Security, IS and Legal. 5. Project planning, execution and tracking to successfully meet an extremely tight deadline The Singtel Dash app was implemented on schedule and received positive customer feedback and media coverage. Chee Wai subsequently took on the mobile remittance product portfolio to make improvements on product construct and processes.
