Joined iRiS to head up the delivery team comprising Project Management, Technical Delivery & Support for this global organisation. The key parts of the role were standardising procedures, introducing new processes, building & strengthening the teams to support & enhance the growing business. iRiS is a rapidly growing organisation that has many, multi-device, cloud based solutions that enhance guest and customer experience. Working with Mobile Devices (hotel provided or B.Y.O.D.- both managed by MDM solutions), delivering HA and secure solutions in a SaaS or PaaS model dependant on the client requirements. iRiS are working with most of the major, global, hotel chains in creating and deploying bespoke mobile solutions to enhance guest experience and increase revenues.
Strategically involved in the planning process for migrating all OnQ hotels to the latest version of code. My responsibilities were to identify any risks with interfaces, re-testing any fixes and certifying releases, project managing and assisting the implementation of installations. This project was completed successfully, on time and on budget. Other projects that I am currently involved in are the Chip & PIN initiative ensuring all facets of the project are covered, including vendor management, development and testing planning as well as deployment schedules. I am also assisting with project planning the next generation deployment of the above property, Point Of Sale solution for the global estate.
Responsible for all the OnQ PM interfaces within the international estate which comprises over 130 hotels (managed and Franchise) and is constantly growing. These are located worldwide, excluding domestic U.S., and cover all brands that are part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.
Brought in to update all IT Systems & Hardware. This involved replacing the Hotel groups PMS (Property Management System), all Servers, PC's Printers and WAN / LAN infrastructure. Also upgraded all the PC & Server Operating Systems along with desktop applications
