GUILD is an award-winning invention studio focused on applied sustainability and community innovation to help government agencies, corporates and foundations achieve their impact and educational outcomes. “We don’t just build, we teach. We don’t just teach, we build.” Our clients include Science Centre, Lifelong Learning Institute, MENDAKI Foundation, Grab, Salesforce, HP & more. Conducted training in Design Thinking, Futures Thinking, Systems Thinking, Business Model Canvas, Ideation, Rapid Prototyping and Social Entrepreneurship to ESSEC, NUS, NTU, ITE, RP, SP & more. Founded in 2016 as a tech-driven enterprise after pioneering two makerspaces, we continue to bridge communities and build relationships towards (1) inspiring innovation leaders, (2) championing hands-on culture and wellbeing, and (3) advancing STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Entrepreneurship, Arts and Mathematics). By partnering with the community, our founding members have co-created Southeast Asia’s first makerspace and Singapore's first retail-based community innovation lab, TECH TARIK knowledge events, impact innovation and entrepreneurship courses, craft education, outdoor learning experiences and have received multiple international awards for our sustainable inventions namely the iBam eco artisan speakers, the Floating Chinampa farming modules and the Aglantis Hydrones using AI and deep tech for marine conservation. We are also working towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by improving livelihoods among people engaged in Asia.
