First incumbent of the post of the CEO in the leading privately-owned airline from Bangladesh. During my term the airline grew its fleet from 3x Dash-8-Q400s and 2x Boeing 737-800s to 3x Dash-8-Q400s, 4x Boeing 737-800s, and 4x ATR 72-600s and its operating network from 7 domestic and 3 intl destinations to 7 domestic and 8 intl destinations. I was trusted with the responsibility of achieving sustainable growth of the airline with pragmatic planning and through leading a team of a well-inspired workforce providing the momentum to go forward as the leader in the local airline industry.
Worked at the Company since Aug 2009 as its Consultant leading to the commercial launching of the airline in November 2010 - while becoming the first private airline in Bangladesh to receive a full-fledged Air Operator Certificate. Eventually appointed as the CEO of the airline in January 2011. The airline carried over 500,000 passengers through approximately 11,500 flights in just 2 years of operations in the domestic destinations using its own fleet of 2x Dash-8-Q300 aircraft, with an on-time performance exceeding 97%. Regent Airways is the only airline in Bangladesh approved to transport employees of Chevron and Santos within Bangladesh, after being extensively audited by them and their external safety auditors. In January 2012, the airline was awarded as the Best Domestic Airline of 2011 conferred at the event of EBL-Monitor Airline of the Year. International operations for the airline was approved in Oct 2012 by the regulatory authorities, with subsequent allocation of routes & frequencies in Nov 2012. The airline effectively expanded its operations to international destinations from 15 July 2013 with the first flight to Kuala Lumpur using first of the two B737-700 leased from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) and the second B737-700 was soon added to the airline's fleet in August 2013. Within the next months, the airline shall be operating to Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and subsequently to the Middle-East. Apart from scheduled commercial operations, the airline also entered into a 5-year contract with Chevron Bangladesh (commencing from June 2013) for exclusive operation of a DHC-6-400 Twin Otter floatplane for the energy corporation's onshore project in northeast Bangladesh.

Worked as one of the 33 Associate Consulting Programmers from around the world under the Air Traffic Management division of Boeing in a 1-year contract. Responsible for the development of the advanced flight management system for the Next Generation 737 and 777 aircraft using Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Applications (CATIA) which would incorporate all planned satellite-based navigation aid in conformity with the Operational Evolution Plan (OEP) drawn by the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) to replace current ground-based navigation system. Worked in the 132-member project team to develop the following embedded software for the flight-deck of the Boeing 737 Next Generation family of airplanes: Vertical Situation Display (VSD) Navigation Performance Scales (NPS) Integrated Approach Navigation (IAN)
