I am responsible for making sure that the funds entrusted to us by clients deliver on their stated objectives by producing benchmark beating returns. The objective of this approach is to target optimal risk adjusted returns above the relevant benchmark, irrespective of market conditions. Our deep understanding of the different valuation methods combined with knowing what are the key drivers of a company results in a rigorous valuation methodology. AI and ML are part of our analysis to make sure that we eliminate any human biases that may arise. We then construct robust portfolios using quantitative techniques that allows the Portfolio Manager to take active risk to deliver on the funds objectives. This iterative process results in a questioning cycle making sure that the views reflected in the portfolio are relevant, up to date and dynamic by taking into account evolving market conditions.
