Head all direct private equity and venture capital investing for a single family office (SFO). Acquired and serve as Chairman of five portfolio companies. Advise family on attractive fund investments, special situations, etc. Sourced and acquired bank for the family; serve as Special Advisor to the Chairman, Chairman of the Credit Committee and as a Director. I have over $12 billion of complex, US and international, restructuring, turnaround and bankruptcy and distressed M&A experience, as a banker, investment banker and principal. In these capacities, I have had exposure to almost every asset class, worldwide, from real estate, to venture capital, to commodities, to hedge funds, to tax liens, to distressed single family homes, to distressed bonds, mortgages, municipal bonds, etc. All of them, with real world, transactional win-lose consequences.

Recovered over $135 million through sales of real estate and companies and through over $500 million of litigation in the U.S. and Korea. Retained as exclusive financial advisor to J.P. Morgan Chase on two multi-billion dollar bankruptcy assignments.
