I coordinate a volunteer project called ‘Desbravadoras do Universo’, which has 3 categories: social impact, business and research. Right now we are focused on raising our first Advanced Astrobiology Research Center, starting with Discovery I, a research group that aims to study, investigate and correlate biomagnetite at Earth in Mars. Since many living beings on Earth have magnetite inside their bodies and we have some evidence at ALH84001 meteorite of what could be magnetite from some kind of life, this group intends to search for evidence of possible ancestral life on the red planet that could have this same characteristic.
