Discipline lead for the process department at Skuld project (Norne FPSO Topside Modification). Duties within P&ID design, process safety, design documents (system manuals, operational documents, SAT tables, hydraulic calculations, process design reports), piping calculations, estimation and progress report. Main responsibility is general follow-up of the process department with regards to quality, method and manpower.
P&ID design, piping calculations, line list, valve list, tie-in-list, process datasheets, simulations (HYSYS), system manuals, commissioning procedures, flow and pressure calculations, 3D-model (NAVISWORKS), process design reports, HAZOP's, system design reviews.
Commissioning coordinator towards client (Statoil). Main responsibilities are the production of commissioning procedures and weekly status meetings with the client. My responsibility is that all multidiscipline commissioning procedures are made in time for offshore commissioning. I have weekly meetings with the client to report progress and eventual challenges.
Main skills acquired were within the process discipline (drilling), both for studies and detail engineering, in addition to experience from various multidiscipline projects. I was working on different kind of drilling platforms, including Oseberg B, Snorre A and the H-6-double ram-rigs. I also did a lot of work on new drilling ships. I am familiar with drilling equipment in the industry, including mud/cement pumps, mud mixing, bulk storage, shakers, mud tanks, pipe handling equipment, BOP's, roughnecks, rotary tables, top drives, DDM and much more. Process skills are P&ID’s, pipe calculations (PIPENET), hydraulic calculations, process data sheets, line/valve/tie-in-lists, utility consumption lists, system manuals and good knowledge of the used standards (NORSOK, TR, API, DNV, ISO etc.). Broad computer skills and experience with Aker and Statoil data systems and procedures. These skills were used on the following projects: "TMT 1&2" (new-build, drilling ship in Korea. Client: DSME) "Odebrecht 1&2" (new-build, drilling ship in Korea. Client: DSME) "Oseberg B Drilling Upgrade" (modification on existing drilling platform. The summer of 2007 I worked as a laboratory assistant in CUF-QI, a part of the most important Portuguese, private owned chemical group operating in Portugal. During this period I did experimental work on purification of an end-product, displacing the equilibrium of undesirable by-products.
