• Compile and verify monthly financial statements for presentation to management • Create ongoing costing reports to monitor commodity profitability; perform ad hoc analyses for production staff and third parties • Collaborate with company president and Operations Manager to create annual budget forecasting, and compare with intra-year actuals • Enforce internal accounting controls and ensure GAAP compliance • Assist CPA with year-end tax returns and intra-year tax planning

• Manage accounting operations for subsidiary company, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end journal entries • Maintain depreciation, fixed asset, and debt schedules • Compile and verify month-end financial statements • Perform financial analysis projects for Controller as needed • Facilitate worker’s compensation cases, coordinating with insurance and employees • Consult research materials and legal counsel to ensure compliance with employment laws • Assist with payroll and inventory clerical processing as needed
