I am working to improve the infrastructure used to create, deploy, and maintain modern enterprise websites.
Wore many "hats" at this company, but my primary responsibilities included electronic circuit design, firmware development, test system design and construction, and administration & improvement of all phone, network, and computer resources.
This was my first salaried position, and I took it because I have been fascinated with computer security ever since my home server was broken into when I was in high school. I joined Secure Computing Corporation, which was acquired by McAfee 3 months after I started, with the expectation of being moved to the development team after gaining some familiarity with the products. When it became clear that this would not happen in a reasonable amount of time, I took an electrical engineering position at another small company near my residence.
Worked for the Automotive Aftermarket Division (AAD) doing basic quality assurance statistics and designing and improving test methods. Later I worked for Track & Trace Solutions Division (T&TSD) where I participated in the development of the "SmartShelves" project which used RFID tags to track medical records for the military.
