• Trend research; created mood boards for seasonal trends, looking at silhouette, fabric, colour, print, mood direction through runways, Instagram and influencers. • Worked collaboratively with the Head Designer creating monthly multi-product collections • Designed exclusive best selling ranges for Zalando and ASOS • Worked closely with Merchandiser to ensure all garment departments are covered and maintain maximum sales. • Designed products which exceed the NFD customers’ expectations of the brand, whilst remaining commercial in the approach • Introduced highly detailed technical packs for oversea suppliers to follow in the Far East, Turkey and UK • Brought on 5 new suppliers on board and maintained strong relationships with them through visits, calls and meetings • Communicated directly across all suppliers to follow and deliver the critical path deadlines, ensuring seasonal budgets are kept to. • Worked closely with print designers internally and externally, providing design direction and priorities • Created new ranges such as Knitwear and Lounge-wear to expand NFD's customer market • Created print artworks, t-shirt graphics and social media posts • Worked closely with the technical teams, attending all fit sessions to direct garment construction and ensure product meets NFD’s commercial direction. • Managed a Design team and guided them through the design process, assigning jobs where necessary • Oversee and managed all final trimmings, strike off approvals and PP samples • Recruited interns/ assistants to work with the design team, including the interviewing process
