Responsible for implementing a cost savings best practice process across $2B in COGS and Distribution. Implemented a standardized Project Portfolio Management tool, collaborative cross company project sharing process and financial gap analysis tool across all cost pools resulting in historic levels of productivity for over 20 Business Units. Developed a procurement playbook including Source to Pay technology for spend visibility and scale leverage, a best practice specification management system, a cutting edge RFQ tool, a category management roadmap, supplier segmentation process and cash flow improvement plan (vendor terms) while implementing a value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) cost optimization process. Partnered with The Institute of Supply Chain Management to develop a best-in-class procurement skills/capability evaluation tool and training curriculum to support professional development and career planning which is being used as a best-in-class model for the Company. Achieving cost savings of $40MM annually with cash flow improvements of $20MM.

Direct strategy, planning and execution of manufacturing and distribution for $600M in sales. Lead 3 liquid manufacturing sites with 700 associates and multiple 3PL sites. Lead integration of Spectrum acquisition into Energizer. Developed and executed a $24MM integration savings plan (DC outsource to 3PL, manufacturing site consolidation, insource manufacturing from TPM’s, Clorox contract manufacturing, business growth initiatives). Hired talented leaders for manufacturing sites to lead continuous improvement. Implemented safety vision, mission and values culture resulting in lowest TRIR in the company.

Direct strategy, planning and execution of manufacturing and distribution for $2B in sales with COG’s and distribution costs of $900M. Led manufacturing, warehousing and transportation of plastic durables, fertilizers and liquids for 6 plants and 12 distribution sites with 2,300 associates. Consistently drove >2% annual net savings through the creation and implementation of 6 Quarter improvement plans (Lean, OAE, Capital, Automation, Value Stream, Waste Reduction. etc.) Built a high-performance culture through a focus on talent development and succession planning.

Leadership of manufacturing, logistics, finance, purchasing, engineering and quality for 10 dry pasta and liquid manufacturing sites with over 2000 associates. Highlights - Implemented standardized Lean efficiency metric saving $16M; site consolidation strategy resulting in reduction of facilities with overhead reductions of $18M; Cog's total landed cost optimization cross functional team delivering $15M. Performance excellence led to promotion from Plant Manager to Regional Operations Manager to North America Operations Manager prior to Director Supply Chain.
