Working within the UK Energy and Finance Sectors, my remit involved overall management of 40 IT staff and 2 Service Delivery Managers, along with all associated appraisals, staff development and training requirements. Managed the creation of a new management team and reviewed and improved all existing company processes and procedures as existing operational protocol proved to be cumbersome and inefficient, especially with regards to company travel and expenses. I worked primarily with large blue chip organisations such as IBM, RBS, Standard Life, Sun/Oracle, HBoS and HSBC. Helped increased the profitability of the company by introducing better cost controls.
