Perfion is developing a Product Information Management system, based on the Microsoft .NET framework. The software is both licensed for customers to operate them selves as well as offered as a SaaS solution on top of the Microsoft Azure public cloud. In my role as solution architect, I'm working closely together with both product owners, development, operations & support as well as the solution consultants to enable the product's development and easy of operations.
At Paybuddy we're developing a solution supporting mobile payments on unmanned machines, e.g. amusement- and vending machines. Fewer and fewer people carry coins in their pockets. Via the Paybuddy solution users can quickly and easily use the mobile phone to pay.

Joined Arla as a solutions architect, first in the Supporting Processes department focusing on internal processes and collaboration and later on in the Sales & Marketing area, working primarily with the global marketing team. Most noticeable projects include • Implementing B2B e-commerce solutions based on EPiServer CMS & -Commerce to enable Arla's sustainability agenda by enabling sales of short shelflife products directly to stores. Solution was based on Azure PaaS. • Implementing a business intelligence solution to assess product- and productcategory performance in the UK. Solution was based on Azure PaaS components and PowerBI. • Architecting a new hosting environment on Microsoft Azure to host Arla's big, high-traffic, public marketing websites • Selecting and implement a new Digital Asset Management solution. Solution was hosted in Azure IaaS. • Implementing Microsoft Azure as public cloud to augment the existing private cloud data centers. • Architecting a new, award winning, intranet, CheckIn, based on SharePoint Server 2013. • Adoption of Office365. At first focusing on the roll out of the Office Pro Plus client and OneDrive for Business. Later on working with SharePoint Online and Teams to replace the on-premise Team Sites solution based on SharePoint Server 2013 Common for all projects is that I was in close collaboration with business stakeholders, external vendors, partners and agencies to ensure that the right requirements was captured, implemented and verified.
Took on a lead developer role in the currency exchange area, working on migrating parts of an existing Cobol based mainframe system to a newer Microsoft .NET webservice based architecture. Workplace was based in the Aarhus area, but with frequent travels to Copenhagen, to work closely together with the traders based there.
Following the structural reform of Danish municipalities, the municipalities was charged with new responsibilities in social- and rehabilitation areas. i re-joined CSC Scandihealth to help sculpt the Microsoft .NET based VITAE Suite to handle these new areas. I was working as an application architect in a team of three architects covering the suite, which initially was an administrative system for municipalities to plan, document and deliver elderly care to their citizens. Development team was about 30 developers, across development and operations/maintenance. As part of the team was an Indian offshore team based in Mumbai. I worked closely with both internal business developers as well as key stakeholders within the municipalities to specify the development tasks and bring these task forward together with the development team. I was also heavily involved in the public tender processes, working with the sales team on describing the proposal as well as presenting it to the potential customers. Also worked across development teams within the company, working on common development practices, e.g. fully automated builds and deployments based on Microsoft Team Foundation Server as well as documentation sharing practices based on Microsoft SharePoint.
Joined the central IT department in DLBR as both developer and architect. In a team of two architects, I worked on multiple different projects ranging from the technical integrations, a SharePoint based farmer portal to mobile apps for hoof trimmers and cattle inseminators running on special ruggedized devices. Worked closely together with the business developers in the Danish Cattle Federation, as both Architect and as Scrum Master leading a small team of developers in a project to make data from the central Danish cattle database available for 3rd party partners.
Following my previous work as developer & application architect, I was formally hired as an Application Architect within the organization. Taking on further responsibilities for leading and developing solutions in the patient-administrative area. Continued to work on a Microsoft .NET WinForms based application for patient administration for Danish hospitals.
Started working as a C++ developer within Healthcare, working on a resource booking system (OPUS Booking) for operating theaters. Keeping track of people, rooms and resources. Frontend was a C++ based COM/ActiveX component with a Natural based backend (GS!Åben) running on mainframe. Later we began a rewrite of the C++ based client application, not only the resource booking application, but the entire patient administrative system (OPUS Arbejdsplads), into a Microsoft .NET 1.0 WinForms based application. This new application used a SOAP based API to communicate with the same mainframe backend. I took on a lead developer role in that project and later on a junior application architect role, working closely together with both our business consultants and the healthcare personnel at the client.
