Working with arts, leisure and business tourism clients of this busy agency to deliver PR campaigns and ongoing PR and social media support. Current clients include Leeds Beckett University, Great Inns of Britain and VisitYork4Meetings. Duties include: • Taking a lead on running the PR function of the agency (i.e – writing client proposals, idea generation, developing strategy and planning documents for integrated campaigns working across traditional PR, social and digital channels, implementing administration and evaluation systems, nurturing key relationships with national and regional media, researching and developing new relationships, managing contacts databases.) • PR Account Management and delivery - responsible for all aspects of client relationships and satisfactory delivery of work for clients across arts, travel and business tourism sectors. This is a small and busy press office, working with both local and national news and arts professionals to pro-actively and strategically promote the activities of the largest producing theatre outside of London. Main duties included: • Delivering tailored media campaigns to promote the work undertaken by the building (this includes West Yorkshire Playhouse productions, touring shows, education and community work, literary projects and general profile for the building). • Writing and issuing national and local press releases, both show specific and more general, including funding announcements and award nominations, and the sourcing/ devising of statements on behalf of senior management teams • Organising and implementing photo calls, season launches and press nights. • Liaising with journalists across print, broadcast and web media, and writing and chasing up pitches for national and local news and arts stories/ features. • Liaising with stage management and production teams to organise theatre access for journalists, broadcast and film crews. • Line management of press office interns • Co-ordinating press office administration,: daily and weekly cuttings, archiving, producing press packs.
