Minorities and Community Health (MACH) Research Lab Dr. Hope M. Hill, PhD: Black Male Trajectory Project Led a team of 4 over a 2-year period in developing culturally sensitive models and frameworks for analyzing socio-cultural human development in predominantly Black communities. Specifically, we examined how public policy impacts the life trajectories of young African Americans. I managed the use of models developed by the team to conduct comparative and comprehensive analysis of critical life milestones of a group of 25 African-American males who were facing capital punishment in the United States. I presented the team's consolidated multi-year analyses and conclusions at the 2011 & 2012 Leslie H. Hicks Research Symposiums and was awarded 2nd Place Recipient for Oral Presentations.
