1-3 Brigade Special Troops Battalion Served as the commanding officer of a Brigade Special Troops Battalion which deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for the readiness and employment of eight companies of the brigade's combat enabling and logistical assets from both the Brigade Special Troops Battalion and the forward deployed Brigade Support Battalion. Supervised the operations of two forward operating bases consisting of over 2800 Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and contract civilians; and the retrograde and transfer of tactical infrastructure within Zabul province. Responsible for the health and welfare; training; and safety of over 700 Soldiers and their Families. Provided for the well-being of Army Families and the strength of the battalion's Family Readiness Group.
Served as the Department of Military Science and Leadership's department chair under the University of Richmond's School of Arts and Sciences. Managed the recruiting, marketing, resource management and training for a four-year Reserve Officer Training Corps program active at six different colleges and universities in southern Virginia. Responsible for an annual commissioning mission to produce quality lieutenants for the United States Army's active and reserve components.
1st Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division Served as the brigade combat team operations officer and was responsible for all operational planning, synchronization, and mission execution for a 3500 Soldier armored brigade combat team at Fort Stewart, GA. Served as the ground task force operations officer for the Department of Defense’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosive (CBRNE) Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF). Orchestrated mobility exercises, coordinated with joint and inter-agency partners and developed standard operating procedures which were later implemented as the baseline standards for the CCMRF Task Force Operations assigned units.
