• Oversee Smith Optics’ finished goods purchasing team. • Developed and lead weekly global supply chain meeting (SAAG – Smith at a Glance) to promote product lifecycle visibility to pertinent management/leadership teams worldwide. • Work to promote/implement cost savings initiatives within supply chain; i.e. ocean vs. air shipping, product packaging, other. • Collaborate with product development and demand planning to hit key product milestones/gates by analyzing lifecycles, lead request for quote on new products, reduce lead times, and implement/streamline supply chain processes. • Manage overseas finished goods and semi-finished goods suppliers. • Managed BD’s largest American/Canadian wholesale accounts. • Worked closely with supply chain to manage product inventory levels, create backorder reports, and production dates. • Responsible for maintaining Black Diamond business to business and direct to consumer websites.
