Using patented E-Pit technology which facilitates instant electronic hedging and eliminates slippage, DPP graindesk allows growers to obtain their asking prices and buyers to obtain their future hedges. Fully automated hedging and purchasing of grain allow growers to execute cash sales of grain anytime markets are trading. Farms Technology was the first company I started, and my first foray into the challenges of digitizing an analog industry. I learned a lot about the industry, and learned even more about the farmer experience from the relationships I formed with customers over the years. Farms Technology was sold to DuPont Pioneer in December 2012.
