Trident Capital Management is an alternative investment manager whose strategy employs a systematic quantitative diversified global macro program that determines market appetite for risk and uses futures to structure its portfolio accordingly. When risk is "on" Trident invests in global stock indices, commodities and long dated fixed income markets. When risk is "off", however, Trident will "short" global stock indices and invest heavily in Treasuries, and precious metals. The main goal of Trident Capital Management is to add value and preserve capital in a manner that is uncorrelated to traditional long only investments, as well as other hedge funds.
