These collections were based off of sales direction from the merchandising director, and our trend and color research, using model libraries. I also worked on major pin collections for Macys, Holiday and Basic themed, these designs were sometimes new models or redesigned with new colors from the model library.
Hired by this direct seller of home décor products, candles, and accessories during a period of significant business growth. Served as the sole in-house designer to generate concepts for merchandise across all product categories and price points. Scope of responsibilities was diverse and included rendering illustrations/technical drawings, interpreting and responding to design briefs, monitoring and reporting on emergent market trends, and supervising freelance designers.
