Certitudo Capital is an family owned real estate investor and property developer in inner city retail, office and residential properties with a investment portfolio of EUR 650 M AUM and a development pipeline of 14 projects valued over EUR 2.5 Bn. Certitudo Real Estate is one of four divisions within Certitudo Capital and acts as holding entity of over forty property companies in which 14l development projects are structured. Also CRE provides transaction, asset and property management services for the investment portfolio. Furthermore, I have a shared responsibility in attracting equity and debt from private capital sources such as family offices and high net worth individuals. As Director for CRE, I am P&L accountable for CRE, directing the CRE team of 20 FTE. Besides transactions and asset management, my team also acts as an internal client for the inhouse Certitudo development team assigned to manage the 14 development projects through the several design phases towards construction. Me and my team are involved in the developments at a strategic level, making sure that product, planning, price meet investment, financing and return criteria and are in line with market practice, all to ensure a timely and smooth disposition process to external parties or internal funds. The long term goal is to transform the business unit, improving the team, setting up internal (reporting) procedures, reporting cycles, to enable Certitudo to attract capital from a wider range of capital sources including institutional investors.
