Core to our firm’s continued success is the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer. In this capacity, I’m responsible for helping our clients address their business challenges and commitments through well-designed analyst, media and content strategies. For The Devon Group, I’m developing new service offerings to drive Devon’s data-driven global market expansion. Time and time again, great communications programs are validated for their ability to unite teams, accelerate corporate growth through demand generation, and build leadership pipelines. While “the how” we do it is always changing, getting the right messages to the right audiences at the right time remains our primary focus.
Hosted by Jeanne Achille and Kate Achille of The Devon Group, the Up Next @ Work podcast tackles tough workplace ideas through spirited conversations. I'm the program chair for the HR Tech Online Conference as well as the Women in HR Tech Summit at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition. The 2026 dates for the #HRTechConf are October 20-22 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The HCM and HR Technology markets have very unique subcultures, buying cycles, technical priorities, and ecosystems. Understanding that context is the learning curve for the competent people who arrive without market understanding. With co-presenter John Sumser of HRExaminer, we deliver the one-day indoctrination in HR Tech market realities and opportunities.
Talentegy’s technology analyzes data on career sites and throughout a company’s various talent acquisition technologies (career website, ATS, CRM and more) to help analyze and identify candidate behaviors, content engagement, candidate exits and accurate applicant sources. The company was acquired by Jobvite in September 2020.
The creators of Human Resource Executive® and HR Technology Conference & Exposition® launched Select HR Tech, a brand-new, immersive and roll-up-your-sleeves experience for HR executives. I was honored to program this first-ever event with top-tier #HRTech experts as speakers. Unfortunately, the pandemic impacted our plans and we weren't able to hold the June 2020 event in Las Vegas.
The Supreme Court Committee on Attorney Advertising consists of seven elected members, five of whom are members of the bar and two of whom are public members. The Advertising Committee has the exclusive authority to consider requests for advisory opinions and ethics grievances concerning the compliance of advertisements and other related communications with Rules of Professional Conduct. During my two year term, I participated in monthly review meetings during which cases were reviewed and resolved. My role was similar to that of an expert witness: to render an opinion based on the case facts presented specific to the modes and scope of attorney advertising and communications.
Founded in 1970 by three former NASA employees, Xylogics was a publicly held manufacturer of disk controllers and networking hardware. The company was acquired by Bay Networks and, subsequently, by Nortel. Products were sold through channels and partnerships; Sun Microsystems was one of Xylogics' largest customers. I was the company's first marketing executive, managing a multi-million dollar budget and directing a team of seven professionals who were responsible for brand, demand generation (including telemarketing), trade shows and customer events, corporate and partner PR, awards marketing, speaker bureau, content development, and product marketing.
