Duties - Managing the Alliance in the pursuit and development of its goals, which includes (i) informing our members, (ii) facilitating dialogue, (iii) explore opportunities and threats, (iv) to prioritize, (v) to position the network, and (vi) to develop our outreach strategy - Member of the Board of Directors - Representing the organization and its members towards government, NGOs and media - Link with stakeholders across the value chain - Financial and strategic management of the organization Achievements: - Identification of key government representatives with whom the basis was laid for the Belgian Ratification of the "Amsterdam Declarations Partnership" for deforestation free sustainable commodities; - Outreach to the Benelux Secretariat with whom a dialogue series with the UNDP, Indonesia and key industry players was organized. This has contributed to better mutual understanding and converging positions on the role of the EU government and various sustainability initiatives; - Organization of a webinar with interventions from Belgian Secretary of State, the Indonesian Ambassador and various experts. Over 400 registrations. - Outreach to the EU/ASEAN Joint Working Group on Vegetable Oils and facilitation of a dialogue with the Indonesian partners EU industry players to get a better understanding of this platform and the Indonesian expectation - Coordination and drafting of external communication (annual report, reactive statements, press releases)
