Groundswell films have led to impacts such as federal environmental legislation, a billion dollar legal settlement, and contributed to the consumer movement towards natural, organic and sustainable foods. Notable projects include: Food Patriots, (www.foodpatriots.com) co-producer of an award-winning documentary film and public engagement campaign that aims to create healthier lives, a less polluted and environment and jobs by encouraging Americans to make a 10% change in the way we eat, buy and educate the next generation about food. Education and outreach includes hundreds of schools and college visits and significant advocacy against use of antibiotics in animal agriculture. "The Return of the Navajo Boy,” a multi award-winning documentary film and international public relations and advocacy campaign to create awareness of uranium contamination on indiginous lands. Advocacy in US led to passage of Uranium Workers Compensation Act and visual evidence led to $1 billion settlement against corporate polluters. The Robben Island Singers (www.robbenislandsingers.com) film, concert and education program. Collaborated with ex-political prisoners who fought to end Apartheid in South Africa to tell their stories through song and document their journey and tour.
