Strategic communications and PR counsel and execution for B2B tech clients (and the occasional, very special consumer product company).
As the Senior Director at Ubiquity Public Relations, I was responsible for leading the account team and overseeing Ubiquity's broad range of technology clients, including Infusionsoft and Check Point.
Led global analyst relations, including extensive relationships with Gartner and Forrester, and drove North American public relations, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing. My specific responsibilities included serving as both the strategist and hands-on participant of analyst relations, responsible for creating and implementing effective analyst relations strategies to directly align with Axway’s broad product portfolio and roadmap. Additionally I oversaw and managed all contracts with industry analyst firms. I drove public relations efforts to raise Axway’s brand awareness within the North American market, including extensive speaking and awards programs, commenting strategies, byline article placement and proactive media outreach. I worked with corporate marketing, product marketing, vertical marketing, product management and sales to leverage industry analysts and public relations across both inbound and outbound activities.
As an Account Director at SHIFT Communications, I led a team and a full roster of diverse accounts including: enterprise software, eLearning, HD ad delivery, network infrastructure, SaaS, and ERP. As the Account Director, I specifically drove strategy and messaging programs and led my team to deliver complete public relations and analyst relations programs for our clients. A big part and specialization of my role included executing rapid response campaigns to industry trends and breaking news for clients in the IT security and enterprise software markets. In addition to my client work, I also led SHIFT’s international partner program. This included research and development of relationships with agencies abroad aligned with SHIFT’s corporate values. As SHIFT is focused solely on the North American market, it was necessary to have a robust international partner program to meet the global needs of our clients.
As Senior Manager, Corporate Communications for Kaspersky Lab Americas, I was responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation and management of Kaspersky’s internal and external communication strategies for the Americas region, including Canada, U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil; as well as the Company’s independent news outlet, Threatpost. In this role, I served as both a strategist and a hands-on participant, responsible for creating and implementing effective communication strategies that were directly aligned with Kaspersky’s corporate, partner and consumer business strategies. I worked with the executive team, the marketing team, and sales teams to develop the corporate communications strategy, including internal communications and public relations, ensuring alignment with overall company vision, mission and goals. This included developing and directing strategic media outreach plans and analyst programs with the help of my internal communications team and external agencies to generate positive and relevant awareness for Kaspersky Lab Americas across all types of media including print, broadcast social media and within relevant analyst reports and blog posts. In order to optimize the communications efforts, I built out an internal public relations team, divided by region, to achieve higher visibility and maintain a clear understanding of the Company’s value proposition.
